The luxury Indian hotel ITC Royal Bengal has won the Most Energy Efficient Commercial Building/Hotel awarded at the National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition 2024, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
ITC Hotels is LEED Platinum certified and stands as a model for sustainability. The award was highlighted in India's leading trade publication, Hotelier India, which noted the hotel's use of patented CONTINEWM to reduce energy consumption in its AHU.
ITC Hotels is credited with implementing cutting-edge energy efficiency measures that improve performance and reduce fossil fuel usage, making it an industry leader in energy conservation and decarbonization. CONTINEWM was installed at this hotel by N.E.T.S. (National Enviro Tech Solutions), a subsidiary of CONTINEWM ASIA, which has installed it at all 14 ITC HOTELS, making a significant contribution to energy savings in air conditioning.
