ITC Maurya Wins SKÅL 2025’s Hotel Sustainability Awards

The 85th SKÅL International Conference was held in Cusco, Peru from September 25th to 30th, and an awards ceremony was held for each category.

In the "Hotel Sustainability" category, ITC Maurya from India won first place out of 109 participating five-star hotels from around the world, while ITC Royal Bengal took second place. Among the sustainable solutions adopted by the hotels, both hotels were recognized for their significant contributions to energy-saving air conditioning using CONTINEWM. At the ceremony, Claudio Cerquetti of CONTINEWM International accepted the winning trophy on behalf of ITC Maurya.

SKÅL is one of the world's largest international organizations, with members representing management from tourism-related companies around the world, working to promote and deepen international tourism. The club's members are all leaders in the tourism industry, and they hold various meetings at the local, national, regional and international levels to deepen discussions on the development of the tourism industry. Founded in Paris in 1932, the club now has a global network of 340 clubs in 102 countries, with approximately 13,000 members.
